Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely between departments, maintaining comfort and dignity.
• Assists patients in and out of wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds with proper lifting techniques.
• Communicates with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare providers to coordinate transport needs.
• Keeps transport equipment clean and sanitized per infection control protocols.
• Follows safety guidelines for patient handling and transport, reporting concerns promptly.
• Moves medical equipment, supplies, and documents as needed to support care.
• Provides excellent customer service, offering reassurance to patients and families.
