Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in and out of beds with support from nurses or PCT.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transit.
• Transport patients to and from hospital units and imaging modalities.
• Maintain communication with Transport Dispatcher and update transport status.
• Assist with bed management and remove unused oxygen tanks.
• Follow isolation protocols, PPE, and hand hygiene requirements.
• Identify patients using two identifiers.
• Sign in/out of logbook and notify nursing staff on arrival.
