Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of site and department orientation required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in and out of beds with nurse or PCT support.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transit.
• Transport patients to and from hospital units and imaging within timeframes.
• Maintain update transport status using the automated system.
• Assist with bed management and organize beds; remove unused oxygen tanks.
• Follow isolation protocols including PPE and hand hygiene.
• Identify patients with two identifiers during transport.
• Sign in/out of logbook and notify staff on arrival.
