Job summary

TriHealth's Good Sam Hospital in Cincinnati is hiring a Part-Time Patient Transportation Tech to move patients between nursing units, procedure areas, testing areas, and support departments, ensuring safety and comfort during transport.

You will assist patients arriving or departing, handle specimens and supplies, and follow hospital safety policies while maintaining timeliness and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS and CPR certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of computers and phones.
• Ability to pass CPR course.
• Ability to effectively use a two way radio.
• Up to 1 year of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from nursing units, procedures, testing areas, and labs.
• Assist patients and handling of specimens, supplies, and medications as needed.
• Move patients safely with equipment and maintain safety policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of equipment and supplies.
