Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Patient Transport team member to mobilize patients using lift equipment across the facility. You will transport equipment, supplies, specimens, and patients and ensure safe pathways for travel, while maintaining accurate transport logs and patient verification.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification. Preference is given to candidates with hospital experience and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) – REQUIRED.

Mansioni

• Communicate effectively with patients and team.
• Ensure safe patient transports using lift equipment and mobilization aids.
• Maintain the transport log and tracking system.
• Identify barriers to transport and coordinate solutions.
• Transfer patients with complex equipment safely and monitor lines.
• Adhere to mobility requirements and keep equipment clean and stowed.
• Assist with patient hand-offs and unit-to-unit transport protocols.
