Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Service Excellence Standards and Expectations at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.
• Exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
• Demonstrate courteous communication skills and good judgment in performance of duties.
• Confirm patient identification prior to transport by verbal confirmation and ID band for inpatients.
• Move patients using safe transport methods to radiology or departments, with proper body mechanics.
• Notify nursing units when leaving and returning with patients and utilize the ticket to ride.
