Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients safely between units and diagnostic areas. You will assist with bed storage, traction equipment setup, and respond to emergencies to support patient care.

The role requires basic reading/writing ability (8th grade) and Basic Life Support certification, with preference for a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in acute care settings. This is an on-site position in Arcadia, CA.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write at an 8th grade level.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Move patients to and from clinical units safely.
• Transport patients via gurney, bed, or wheelchair.
• Respond to codes and assist as directed.
• Maintain and organize bed storage areas.
• Operate TeleTracking Transport System.
• Assist with traction equipment setup and storage.
• Support infection control and safety standards.
