Responsibilities

• Escort patients using wheelchairs or stretchers and ensure correct matching of patient information.
• Transport incoming and outgoing mail and deliver patient charts to floors.
• Sort and prepare mail for mailing and maintain orderly mail areas.
• Ensure transport equipment is safe and returned after use.
• Follow Lahey Clinic policies and guiding principles daily.
• Maintain courteous interactions with colleagues and patients.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and mandatory education.
• Perform additional duties as needed by the department.
