Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be 18 years old to be considered for position.
• Basic understanding of communication equipment such as pagers, phones and computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient transports, transfers, lifts and repositioning using appropriate equipment.
• Deliver patients and care items between units and departments.
• Maintain inventory and hygiene of lifting equipment and slings.
• Assist with employee education on lifting equipment and transfer techniques when indicated.
