Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO is seeking a patient transport associate to move patients and equipment between hospital departments. You will perform a variety of patient-related tasks while prioritizing safety and proper body mechanics.

Epic software is used to track patient locations and equipment movement across the facility. The role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and BLS CPR/AED certification, with at least two years of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification required.
• Two years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment between departments within the Medical Center.
• Perform patient-related activities as assigned.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment across locations.
• Use Epic software to track patient location and equipment movement.
