Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Van Driver to support patient transportation and create a friendly, welcoming environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors. You will operate vehicles safely, perform routine inspections, and assist with transfers as part of a team dedicated to reliable, high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Eligibility includes a valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the heaviest class vehicle.
• CPR and First Aid Training.
• Previous transportation experience required.
• Must be 25 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operates transportation vehicles in a safe manner and complies with all traffic laws.
• Maintains appearance of vehicle and promptly reports vehicle maintenance needs.
• Performs daily and weekly vehicle inspections.
• Lifts and transfers patients appropriately; applies all safety equipment.
• Is competent in CPR and/or handles any patient emergency.

Skills
