Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Transportation Aide to move patients and specimens within the hospital system. You will transport with wheelchairs or stretchers, ensuring safety, accuracy of patient identification, and timely delivery to units and imaging modalities.

You will follow isolation and PPE protocols, communicate with dispatch and units, and assist with supplies and environmental duties as needed. The posted minimum pay is $17.62 per hour.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to communicate effectively to alleviate patient anxiety.

Responsabilidades

• Transports patients using wheelchairs or stretcher while ensuring safety.
• Delivers patients to and from units or imaging areas within timeframes.
• Keeps dispatch/modality/unit informed of task status and delays.
• Handles patient support equipment safely and removes unsafe gear from service.
• Obtains supplies from central supply as requested.
• Follows isolation PPE and handwashing protocols; uses two patient identifiers.
