Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Food & Nutrition Room Service Attendant to obtain patient meal preferences and orders and ensure safety and satisfaction. You will follow HACCP guidelines and participate in ongoing training within our Food Service team.

The role emphasizes patient and physician satisfaction, adherence to safety standards, and professional appearance, with opportunities to grow within the department.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• Food Handlers or SERV Safe Certificate preferred (90-day grace period after hire)

Responsibilities

• Obtains food preferences and meal orders for patients.
• Adheres to HACCP/food safety guidelines and infection control practices.
• Maintains uniform and professional appearance.
• Strives to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.
• Participates in training with Food Service staff to advance within the industry.
