Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is seeking a Room Service Ambassador to obtain patient meal preferences and orders, while following safety and HACCP guidelines. You will ensure patient, customer and physician satisfaction and participate in ongoing training.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and healthcare exposure; a Food Handlers or SERV Safe certificate is a plus. This on-site role offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits in Fredericksburg, VA.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred
• Food Handlers or SERV Safe Certificate preferred (90-day grace period after hire)

Responsibilities

• Obtains food preferences and meal orders from patients
• Follows patient safety, infection control, department security and HIPAA guidelines
• Adheres to HACCP/food safety guidelines and procedures
• Maintains uniform and personal appearance standards
• Participates in training to develop within the Food Service department
