R1 RCM is seeking a Patient Registration Customer Service Representative at Ascension St. Thomas Hickman. You will be the first friendly face patients meet, guiding them through registration, answering questions, gathering accurate information, and building trust in a fast-paced hospital setting.

No healthcare background? We’ll train you. This full-time role offers M-F 8a-5:30p hours and a base pay range of $16.00-$21.10 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Register patients across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately.
• Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused.
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training).
• Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time.
