Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Observation Assistants in Morehead, KY. Positions available for full-time and part-time, with varied schedules including weekends and holidays. Prior healthcare and caregiver experience preferred; CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.25 per hour. Responsibilities include continuous observation of patients, timely reporting, ensuring safety, and assisting staff with routine care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds
• One to two years of previous experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitor patient condition at all times
• Complete observation reports at established intervals
• Stay at patient bedside unless relieved by staff
• Redirect patient from at-risk behaviors and seek help when needed
• Assist with keeping patient environment safe and orderly
• Assist with patient transport to diagnostics when required
