Job summary

Compass Group, through TouchPoint Support Services, is hiring Patient Observation Assistants in Appleton, WI. Roles include visual and audible patient monitoring, reporting, and safe patient handling, with shifts 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 11:00 PM–7:30 AM.

Full-time and part-time positions offer comprehensive benefits; prior healthcare experience is preferred and CPR/BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire. Compensation ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• One to two years of previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient’s condition at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Assists with patient care while remaining at the bedside when required.
• Responds to emergencies and escalates to nursing staff as needed.
• Ensures patient safety and maintains a clean, safe environment.
