Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve quality meals for patients in accordance with Life Care standards. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available.

The role requires a high school graduate, with about a year of food prep experience preferred, and experience in cooking large quantities. You will work in a post-acute care setting, following safety and sanitation guidelines and collaborating with a healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in food preparation preferred.
• Experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals appetizing in taste and appearance for patients.
• Knowledge of ordered diets and food consistency.
• Ensure food and supplies for the next meal are readily available.
• Serve meals and snacks in a timely manner.
• Utilize recipes to prepare meals and snacks.
