Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter.

This part-time position works on a rotating schedule with weekend and weekday shifts and is on-site at the hospital.

You will respond to patient and staff requests promptly, coordinate with the transport team, perform decontamination and delivery of equipment, and demonstrate transfer techniques as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS/HCP certification required.
• Prior experience in customer service or patient care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner, providing the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike.
• Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations.
• Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed.
