Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC. You will assist on assigned units, help patients make menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of service.

This role requires English literacy, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. We offer competitive pay at $16.50–$17.00 per hour, plus benefits for both part-time and full-time positions, and

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Collaborate with nursing and culinary teams on dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Ensure patient safety and satisfaction through accurate, timely meal delivery.
