Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a PART TIME PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) at Carondelet St Joseph's in Tucson, AZ 85711. The role supports patient meals, menu choices, and delivery on a healthcare unit.

You will work 12-hour shifts on a part-time schedule, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and compassionate service, while following HIPAA, HACCP, and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and dietary preferences; cultural, ethnic and religious needs.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state and JCAHO regulations; HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians with patients on liquid diets or calorie counts.
• Communicate problems or concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
