Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Unit Coordinator/Clerk program, or one year related job experience/college course work.
• BLS certification is listed among certifications but may be beneficial for certain roles.
• Familiarity with hospital operations and patient data handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, guests, and staff in a courteous manner.
• Maintain patient records and census reports per UTMB policies.
• Operate the hospital information system for data entry and retrieval.
• Coordinate with departments and ensure timely communication.
• Manage unit supplies, equipment, and paperwork.
