Chippenham Hospital in Virginia is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our nursing team. You will assist with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and support RNs in care plans while helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Previous acute patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas and spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
