Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff and care teams in our New Jersey facilities. The role emphasizes safe, clean environments in patient areas and assisting with basic patient needs and vital sign monitoring.

The incumbent will work under the direction of registered nurses, contributing to high-quality patient care while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Training in BLS will be completed within six months of hire, with ongoing opportunities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurse aide/patient care aide experience with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Completion of nurse aide, multi-skilled tech, or patient care tech course(s).
• Current American Heart Association BLS required.
• Certification/licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the registered nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas.
• Assist licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs.
