Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Med/Surg Telemetry Unit at Kings Mills. The role involves assisting with basic patient care, monitoring vital signs and supporting both patients and the nursing team.

You will help with mobility, feeding, hygiene and comfort under RN supervision. Candidates should have either BLS certification or be pursuing the required licensure/certification.

Qualifications

• BLS Basic Life Support certification preferred (must obtain prior to direct patient care)
• Must have completed one of the required licensure/certification options

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care, monitor vital signs and assist with mobility
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse; report changes and concerns
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients, families and staff
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
