Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Patient Care Support to assist nurses in delivering direct and indirect patient care under supervision, promoting safety and an excellent patient experience on the unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Current Maryland CNA registration (CNA I or CNA II) and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide for care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living and with vitals.
• Observe patients and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean and stocked patient rooms and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
