Qualifications

• Education: Completion of a nursing assistant, patient care tech, medical assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or related course preferred.
• Experience: One year of experience.
• Prior roles: Nursing assistant, PCT, MA, EMT, Paramedic, Surgical Tech, Phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within scope and as directed by licensed staff.
• Assists with activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, toileting, bathing and transferring.
• Performs vital signs and basic data collection.
• Documents in EMR and informs RN of observations or changes in patient status.
• Maintains unit cleanliness, safety, and supplies.
