Prisma Health is seeking a Part Time Patient Care Technician for the Facility Resource Pool (FRP) at Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. You will float to multiple units, providing direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff and contributing to a safe, patient-centered environment.

The role supports activities of daily living, vital signs collection, basic procedures, and documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Completion of nursing assistant or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience required.
• Monitor tech responsibilities require training where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within scope and as directed by licensed staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Support patient admission, positioning and mobility.
• Document vital signs and observations in EMR.
• Assist with tasks such as specimen collection and basic dressings.
• Maintain clean, stocked rooms and proper equipment handling.
