Job summary

Northwest Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. The PCT supports daily living activities, monitors patient needs, and helps maintain a clean, safe care environment.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, collecting specimens, assisting with meals and mobility, documenting findings, and communicating effectively with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record vital signs and intake/output; report findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, mobility, linen changes and catheter care.
• Document glucose monitoring and report results to the care team.
• Maintain infection control practices and proper PPE usage.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and risk management.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with all policies.
