Qualifications

• 0-2 years in an acute care setting preferred
• Currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required (or soon)
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred when available

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care services and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record vital signs and patient data; report findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Support patient mobility and use of walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform glucose monitoring; document results.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control practices and proper PPE usage.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management initiatives.
