Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, ensure a safe environment, and support effective team communication.

Responsibilities include collecting data, assisting with mobility and hygiene, and reporting findings to the nursing staff. BCLS within 90 days is required; CNA or CPCT is preferred, with 0-2 years in acute care.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record and report vital signs and patient data to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, grooming, bathing, and elimination needs.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and use of walkers or wheelchairs.
• Collect samples and monitor glucose with finger sticks as directed.
• Communicate patient information to the care team and follow PPE protocols.
