Job summary

The Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist with daily patient care, basic tasks, and maintaining a safe environment on the unit. The role supports nursing staff under RN/LPN supervision, focusing on ADL assistance, vital signs, and communication within the care team.

The PCT will help with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, assist mobility, and contribute to a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic patient care.
• Record and report vital signs and patient data to nursing staff.
• Support mobility and daily activities, including feeding and grooming.
• Maintain a clean, safe care environment and proper PPE.
• Communicate patient information effectively within the care team.
