Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) seeks a Patient Care Technician to join its behavioral health team in Arizona. The role provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, supporting a multidisciplinary treatment approach in a state-of-the-art setting.

You will assist with patient safety, respond to crises, and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure consistent, compassionate care for individuals experiencing crisis or mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Work in person or telephonically as part of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Ensure safety of the unit and elevate safety concerns to the RN or supervisor as needed.
