Job summary

Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed RN. You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain patient safety, and support treatments and routine care per policy.

Responsibilities include patient care documentation, family teaching, and participation in unit quality initiatives to ensure high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implements patient care as directed by the RN.
• Performs direct bedside care including ADLs and mobility support.
• Performs routine sterile and non-sterile treatments per unit policy.
• Participates in patient/family teaching.
• Maintains medical records or electronic documentation per guidelines.
• Contributes to unit safety and quality initiatives.
