Job summary

Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will implement plans of care, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe unit environment.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, CNA training, and CPR/BLS/NRP certifications. EMT or GUH training program completion will be considered. Salary is hourly with a competitive wage in the DC area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program preferred.
• EMT Medical Assistant will be considered.
• Successful completion of GUH training program required.

Responsibilities

• Implements patient plans of care as directed by the RN.
• Provides direct bedside care including bathing, feeding, mobility assistance, and transport.
• Performs routine sterile and non-sterile treatments per unit policy.
• Participates in patient/family teaching.
• Maintains accurate records in the medical chart or systems.
