Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• CNA license preferred
• BLS certification by end of orientation
• Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Gathers patient data and assists with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Transports patients and supports department maintenance activities
• Provides information and assistance to patients and visitors
• Documents findings in the EMR promptly and accurately
• Turns and repositions patients using safe handling techniques
• Restocks supplies and maintains a clean, safe unit environment
