Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) in Detroit, MI to join the DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan team. The PCA provides essential direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, handling patient transport and supply management to support compassionate care.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, completion of a PCA/CNA/MA/EMT or related program, and at least 2 years of inpatient patient care experience, with six months preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of PCA/PCT program or CNA/MA/EMT/phlebotomy program.
• At least 2 years of inpatient patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Transport patients, specimens, and supplies as needed.
• Report deviations from patient parameters to the registered nurse.
