Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a PCA/PCT, CNA, EMT or MA program is required.
• Six months of direct patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 60+ pounds and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Report changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Follow departmental policies and infection control standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate with families.
• Perform routine clerical duties as needed.
