Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include direct patient care, specimen collection, vitals, and Cerner documentation.

Candidates must be a High School graduate with BLS certification and basic computer skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced hospital setting on varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• BLS certification required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient care under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform limited tests per physician orders.
• Perform vital signs and monitor patient safety.
• Document care in Cerner.
• Assist with transfers and discharges.
• Transport patients and deliver meals/nourishments.
• Maintain cleanliness of units and restock supplies.
