Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, a valid FL CNA license, and are actively enrolled in an ASN or BSN program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed. On-site at the TGH Main Campus in Tampa.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant license from FL DOH
• Must be actively enrolled in an ASN or BSN program
• Have completed Fundamentals of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, safety and comfort.
• Assist licensed nursing staff with delegated patient care activities and report changes to licensed staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to patient care activities.
• Support patient safety, infection prevention, and environmental cleanliness standards.
• Respond to emergencies and follow escalation procedures as needed.
• Prioritize tasks and utilize resources effectively in a high-acuity clinical environment.
