Job summary

ClearSky Health in Eau Claire, WI seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide direct, non-invasive bedside care under a Registered Nurse. You will help ensure comfort and safety while integrating our values into daily practice to support healing and well-being.

Responsibilities include vital signs, basic care, patient transfers, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; 2 years inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and proper body mechanics.
• General computer skills including data entry, email, and records management.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and delivers basic patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, and grooming.
• Records vital signs, intake/output, weights, and specimen collections.
• Transfers patients using proper body mechanics and safe handling techniques.
• Reports changes in patient condition to appropriate nursing staff.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Responds promptly to patient and family calls and requests.
