Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to join our inpatient team. This non-exempt role includes mixed shifts with 8-hour duties, and a hiring range of $15.00 to $25.82 per hour.

The position may include a signing bonus and weekend/holiday scheduling in a busy hospital setting. Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, you will assist with activities of daily living, take vital signs, perform basic nursing tasks, and help maintain a safe, compassionate

Responsibilities

• Provides clear, timely communication to the RN regarding observations and changes seen in patients.
• Provides constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned.
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment and uses de-escalation approaches as directed.
• Assists patients with daily living activities including hygiene, ambulation, meals and nourishment.
• Takes and records vital signs, heights and weights, and assists with basic measurements.
