Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff and helps keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and complete unit work under supervision and in changing conditions.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and other departments and communicates with staff and families.
