Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech to be on the front line of patient care in our New Orleans area facility. You will collect vital signs, assist with hygiene and daily living activities, and help maintain a safe environment at the bedside.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and a personal touch in every interaction with patients and families. Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and current BLS certification; CNA or PCT experience in healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• 1 year of clinical care experience; CNA or PCT in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection for patient assessment, including vital signs, weights, and input/output.
• Support patient hygiene, nutrition, and personal care needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient care environment and assist with patient rounding to drive satisfaction and safety.
• Collaborate with the care team and pursue opportunities for career development.
