Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the ED team on the second shift. You will assist RNs and physicians, perform routine care tasks and monitor patient safety, under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, preference for CNA/HOSA certification, and BLS. Strong communication and basic nursing fundamentals are essential to ensure quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program (HOSA) preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student or 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process.
