Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) in Wildwood Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital. This part-time role supports the patient care team with exams, data collection, and equipment management, while ensuring smooth operations in the Acute Care department.

The PCT assists in scheduling, admissions, discharges and transfers, and handles phone calls and specimen/document delivery as needed. Required is a high school diploma or equivalent with basic math and communication skills; CPR certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills, ability to read and write.
• CPR certification prior to performing direct care; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient care team with exams, procedures and obtaining patient data.
• Coordinate scheduling of procedures and admissions/discharges/transfers.
• Answer phones, take messages and direct calls as needed.
