Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• BLS certification provided by certifying body.
• At least one year of clinical experience or completion of intern program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with changing/dressing.
• Transport patients by stretcher, bed, or wheelchair; assist with movement as needed.
• Identify abnormal findings (vital signs, lab results, EKG, CXR) and report to nursing staff.
• Escort patients to holding rooms and orient them and families to the environment.
• Verify patient information and obtain vital signs as part of routine care.
