Eisenhower Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct support to residents onsite in Ann Arbor, MI. The role pays $18.40 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

The PCT will assist with ADLs, transport residents to appointments, and help create a safe, respectful living environment. Ideal candidates have healthcare experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills.

Qualificações

• A minimum education of high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
• Previous experience in healthcare field.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by regulatory agencies.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and demonstrate patience and empathy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide supervision to Eisenhower residents including transporting to appointments and assisting with ADLs.
• Redirect negative behaviors and maintain safe, clean environments for residents.
• Develop and enhance skills for daily living, social interaction and vocational pursuits as directed by clinical staff.
• Carry out intervention plans and strategies directed by clinical staff (behavioral, speech, case management, counseling, therapists).
• Maintain and document resident progress and behavior per plans and safety policies.
