Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is seeking a patient care assistant to deliver direct patient care under RN supervision. You will participate in the care delivery team, perform assigned treatments, and support patient-family communication.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED, with six months of direct patient care experience preferred, and BLS certification within 180 days. This on-site role involves lifting, mobility assistance and collaboration within a Magnet-designated network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of direct patient care experience preferred or must complete LVHN's novice technical partner course on hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 180 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and related activities as part of the care delivery team.
• Observe and communicate patient status changes to the RN.
• Support unit goals, participate in staff orientation, and use technology to optimize care delivery.
