Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking Patient Care Associates (PCA) to support Critical Care Units in St. Louis, MO. We offer full-time and part-time positions with night (7pm–7am) and day (7am–7pm) shifts, plus rotating weekends and holidays.

No healthcare experience is required; education includes a high school diploma or GED and enrollment in a healthcare program. Mercy provides a 175-hour PCA training and an accredited apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in a healthcare career program.
• No prior healthcare experience required.
• Preferred: CNA certification.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist under RN/LPN in individualized patient care.
• Provide direct patient care and support services.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver exceptional care.
